work/study that you felt proud of
You should say:
– What the task was
– How you completed it
– Why the task was difficult
– Why you were proud of the completion of the task

- I think life would be pointless and boring without difficult tasks.
- من فکر می کنم زندگی بدون کارهای دشوار بی معنی و کسل کننده خواهد بود.
- Achieving difficult tasks gives us a feeling of fulfilment, which is one of the best feelings in the
world.
- دستیابی به کارهای دشوار به ما احساس انجام می دهد که یکی از بهترین احساس ها در

- Today, I would like to talk about one such task, which I never believed I could do.
- امروز می خواهم در مورد یکی از این وظایف صحبت کنم که هرگز باور نمی کردم بتوانم آن را انجام دهم.
- It was winning a public speaking competition.
- برنده یک مسابقه سخنرانی عمومی بود.
- It was difficult because I had a huge fear of public speaking in my childhood.

- I came to know about my fear when my teacher asked me to read the news in front of the
class in 4th standard.
- وقتی معلمم از من خواست که اخبار را جلوی خانه بخوانم متوجه ترسم شدم

- I choked on the stage and I couldn’t speak for more than 10 seconds.
- روی صحنه خفه شدم و بیش از 10 ثانیه نتوانستم صحبت کنم.
- Many of my classmates laughed at me and this increased my fear even further.
- بسیاری از همکلاسی هایم به من می خندیدند و این ترس من را بیش از پیش افزایش می داد.
- I avoided speaking in front of my class for a long time.
- برای مدت طولانی جلوی کلاسم از صحبت کردن پرهیز کردم.
- Whenever, it was my turn to read the news in front of the class, I used to pretend to be sick
and take a leave from school.

- However, I knew I had to get overcome this fear because public speaking is a really necessary
skill.

- Then, she invited some of her friends and she made me speak in front of them.

- At first, I hesitated but gradually I became comfortable.
- ابتدا تردید داشتم اما کم کم راحت شدم.
- My mother’s friends were really encouraging and they motivated me whenever I hesitated.
دوستان مادرم واقعاً دلگرم کننده بودند و هر وقت تردید داشتم به من انگیزه می دادند.
- I used to practice everyday for 1 hour in the evening.
- من هر روز 1 ساعت بعد از ظهر تمرین می کردم.
- This practice made me more and more confident.

- I don’t know why but on the day of the competition I was really confident.

- I spoke like I used to in front of my mother’s friends.

- I felt like nothing was different.

- I was really happy that I didn’t hesitate and spoke fluently without any issue.
- واقعاً خوشحال شدم که درنگ نکردم و بدون هیچ مشکلی روان صحبت کردم.
- The icing on the cake was that, finally, when the results were announced, I had stood first.
- میخچه روی کیک این بود که بالاخره وقتی نتایج اعلام شد من اول ایستاده بودم.
- It was surreal moment.
- لحظه سورئال بود.
- It made me really proud of myself and it instilled the belief in me that everything is possible if
I worked hard..
